Frequently Asked Questions
Arranging a viewing
Please contact the office if you wish to view any of the properties. Within office hours a member of stall will meet your group at the selected property to show you round. If you wish to view a property outside of office hours we can provide you with the contact details of the existing tenants enabling you to view properties at a mutually convenient time. If you are having problems arranging a viewing please contact the office as soon as possible.
Please try and see the property as a whole group in one viewing in order to minimise disruption for the existing tenants.
Please feel free to ask any of our current tenants about us as landlords. We do try and offer a first class service for all our tenants.
The level of rent depends on location, the size of the rooms and property. In some cases, there may be a slight increase to the existing rent.
If you are interested in a property but would like some changes to be made to it, please discuss your needs with us and we will see what we can do.
Signing for a property
If you do wish to take one of our properties please contact the office to arrange an appointment to sign the contract at one of our offices. We have an office on Whitham Road and Glossop Road.
We use the University Approved Assured Shorthold tenancy for all our student tenancies. This will be prepared for you to sign as a group.
A deposit of £200 per person is payable immediately by cheque or cash.
A non refundable administration fee of £50 per person is payable immediately by cheque or cash.
The rent is paid with 3 post dated cheques (each cheque covers 4 months on a 12 month tenancy). These cheques are handed to Broomhill Property Shop on the signing of the contract |
